A space for loved ones

Memories are accessible to accounts invited to that space. There is no public family directory. The owner can invite people, change access and delete the space.

What is stored

Your email, first name, password protected by WordPress, space memberships, invitations and uploaded memories. Game answers and scores are not stored. Do not upload medical records.

Collections, favourites and activities

Collections and their pictures are shared within the space. Favourites are personal to your account. Printed cards and PDFs saved on your device remain your responsibility. The microphone only activates with your permission; a voice message is uploaded only when you save the form.

Sharing respectfully

Share content you own or have permission to share. Also respect the privacy and wishes of anyone photographed, filmed or recorded. If in doubt, ask their permission before posting. You retain your rights in your own content; adding it makes it viewable by authorised members of the Space.

A private family Space does not replace permission to share someone else’s content.

Report content

To report content or request its removal, use My account → Contact the administrator, or email chris@connect-2.me if you do not have an account. Identify the memory and explain your request without sending a password.

Photos, voices and music

Share only content you have permission to share. Files uploaded here are encrypted on the server and require space access to view. Technical administrators of the site and backups retain control of the server.

Personal videos are stored like other private files. Where available, conversion takes place on the site server without an external conversion service.

YouTube

No YouTube video loads before you click. Afterwards your browser communicates with YouTube, which applies its own rules and may show adverts. A link in a private space does not make the YouTube video itself private.

Deletion and copies

You can delete memories you have permission to edit. The owner can delete the whole space. Copies already downloaded by loved ones cannot be removed remotely. Backup copies follow the site's retention policy.

Language preference

A cookie remembers your French/English preference on this device for six months. It contains no memories.

Your choices

To close your account, go to My account. To report a problem or request an additional export, use the contact form in My account.
